I’m a big fan of playing up, of loading the schedule with quality opponents who are capable of exploiting mistakes. That makes a good team better in short order. I’m also a big fan of traditional powers finding room on the schedule for at least one team that aspires to one day compete at a higher level.

Yes, it’s probably a blowout waiting to happen even with the Broncos missing star power from the lineup. When the Trojans leave the field, they will have firsthand knowledge of the skill level and work ethic required to be a Section 1 champion. That’s not a bad thing.
