Perhaps the best way to get a sneak peak at some of the best teams from this part of the country is to spend a day at Somers for the Red/Grey Preseason Classic. The field is again top shelf. The Tuskers are going to use the scrimmages to raise funds and make another charitable donation.
The games will be played March 23 at the high school.
Somers will be joined by Kings Park, Don Bosco, St. Anthony, Guilderland, Niskayuna, Mahopac, Lakeland/Panas, Fox Lane
and Clarkstow South.
Tuskers coach Lew Janavey promises if it is not 60 degrees and sunny, he’ll bleach his hair.
