Some thoughts from the game … The numbers really were startling. Garden City made 14 of 18 shots on goal. Yorktown was 6 for 21 on face offs. Garden City had a 28-19 advantage on ground balls. … The Trojans were overall a bigger, faster, stronger team. You can’t game plan for that. … Devin Dwyer (1G, 7A) was the most creative playmaker I’ve seen all season, and he’s got tools. … The Huskers graduate 17 players including Gately, Raniolo, Cooley and Fusco.
