The coaches spent quality time in a room together and came up with nine players deserving of All-American honors. Actually, they probably came up with a dozen names before making some very difficult choices. Please, drop a name if you feel somebody was left off, but let’s not throw anyone on the list under the bus.
Hudson Valley Boys Lacrosse All-Americans
Jack Grass, Jr. A Bronxville/Hopkins
Jack Lambert, Jr. LSM John Jay/North Carolina
Kevin McNally, Sr. A Suffern/Albany
Kris Alleyne, Sr. G Clarkstown South/Rutgers
Conor Gately, Sr. A Yorktown/Marquette
Frank Fusco, Sr. MF Yorktown/Drexel
Chris Monteferante, Sr. MF Lakeland-Panas/Army
Kevin Schurr, Sr. D Somers/Army
Matt Landis, Sr. D Pelham/Notre Dame

hmmm:
Thank you for reinforcing my point.
What happens in 2 months when these kids get to college. Your the type of parent, whom calls the coach up crying saying, “don’t judge my little Jimmy on the sport your paying him to play.” Now you can see why your the type of supposed”grown-up” that throws these kids under the bus. Again I want to point out that all these kids are great lacrosse players and they have every right to be proud of themselves, but come on and give them so credit. ( as young adults who are of age to be waging war) Sorry I didn’t know we lived in Nazi Germany.
mcnally should not be there. great player but overrated simply because of his name, he won player of the year in rockland county last year when two kids on his own team put up better numbers. same thing happened this year, again he’s a great player but his numbers don’t show it and he couldnt do anything against top level teams. definitely some better names that should be here instead of his
Hynes get robbed he shut down two of the guys in the list and still didn’t get it
No disrespect to any of these players, but where is Hynes. He carried Mahopac on his back that whole season and also the conley kid from Mamo. He was amazing in that sectional final game against Mahopac. Had one of the best games ever
