Backstory: The schools have not seen each other since Bronxville topped Byram Hills 15-6 in last year’s Class C final.
Pick: Yes, the Bobcats are capable of beating the defending champs, but they would have to execute the game plan to near perfection. Turnovers allow the Broncos to get out and run. Bronxville wins 10-7.

Backstory: There’s no way Hen Hud expected to be hosting a semifinal game. Both teams played ambitious schedules in the regular-season in hopes of being prepared for the playoffs, and it’s worked out.
Pick: When they met earlier in the season, the Sailors posted a 10-8 win. It’s hard to stop momentum, though, and the Panthers are rolling. Pleasantville wins 8-7.

All due respect but BH is not as good as last year and Bronxville is as good if not better than last year. Last year Bronxville blew them out by 9 and shut it down by the 4th quarter. Look for the same thing this year with an even wider margin of victory before they ease up by mid 3rd quarter.

Byram is good but not that good. Bronxille is very good, 2nd best in entire section behind ytown. They will get win comfortably. Matt ledwin and hen hud are overrated. Pville is shmackin kids up. Pville gets win in a somewhat close game. As long as they don’t get picked by hen huds offense all game

Just to clarify my statement above-BH’s defense, faceoff men and Larrabee are better than last years version.
I am not too sure why BH is getting soo much credit for there Defense and not Bville. If you do the math. Bville avg 5 gaa BH 5.25 gaa. And I would have to say Bville played a tougher sos. I am not understanding the hype on Larrabee if I am not correct he is the goalie that let in 15 last year against Bville with a much stronger Defense in front of him! I think Bville Defense should get some credit giving up only 8 to LP with it being a 4-2 game going into the 4th. Held Mahopac and somers scoreless in the 4th to win both those wins and just pitched another 2nd half shut out against PV last round. Bville is better this year as far as more rounded as a TEAM! Wont suprise me if Bville puts in another 15 against Larabee. There is NO WAY BH can keep up offensively with BVille! And yes i would put bville at 3/4 best in section.

What hype, what credit to BH…?. They are one of the least hyped teams on this blog this season.. All kinds of posts abou JFK, DF, Hh, Pville this post season but very little from BH and I don’t think I even saw a post about their last game against Pelham. Very quietly they have gone 12-2 in section 1 with a half way decent schedule. No one is hyping them or saying they are worldbeaters. They are young, make a lot of mistakes, can be inconsistent, but have also had a pretty good season and are a good deal better than much of what’s out there. Bronville is clearly very talented and as mike stated, bh will need to be near perfect to pull off the upset. BUT, when you make insulting predictions that suggest they shouldn’t bother to even show up tommorow , it is understandable that you get a negative response. Why not just let the kids play from both teams and do your talking tomorrow night. ( Oh, And how can any team feel they are stronger without Near and McCormick , tremendous athletes who shellshocked BH and dominated that game all over —those kids were awesome). Anyway, see you tomorrow.
Really??: Yes Bville is second best. They may have lost to lakeland but that is there only loss and it was a long time ago. Lakeland lost to Suffern, so are you saying suffern in 2nd best in section???? then you could say mamaroneck is 2nd best in section…

Unless Pville has a really good fogo HH wins comfortably IMO. HH is used to that disaster of a field and can posses the heck out of the ball…

Field could be a mud bowl today, but don’t count out the PVille boys. Their run will continue with a hard “Mud” fought victory 9-6. Field conditions neutralize any advantage HH has…unless they use the new Nike AIR LAX cleats that peel mud off faster than it can stick…PVille has them…so watch out. Good Luck Panthers.

It will be hard for the finals to match the intensity and competition that was on display from both teams today. Well done.

Really, you need to get over yourself and realize how lucky your guys are not to have had to face BX or BH before the finals. Put it out there on the field the way BH did and then come on here and talk trash.
Bronxville people are so ignorant. Chill out with the trash talk, obviously seeding doesn’t mean a thing, as any educated lacrosse fan has realized by now. Hen Hud is a quality team and as a Putnam Valley student, hard to admit but I will be rooting for Hen Hud over Bronxville. Despite Bronxville being the better team, it’s time for a reality check for this stuck up Bronxville students and parents. Lets go Hen Hud!
