How is northrockland 5th when they beat south and white plains last week???
Croton has a strong team. Jesse Schulze face off man can go against anybody. They have a strong defense. Alex Starr has a rocket shot. Needs some polish but a team to be respected.
Croton looses my respect when they loose to a team like Ossining, who last week lost to Kio
Croton lost to Ossining because Ossining matches up well against croton, only team able to hold them to single digits. Ossining lost to Keio because Ossining loses games like that. Got blown out by North Rockland then handled a Nyack team that neat NR. Were losing to Sleepy of all teams in their next game after Keio but something clicked and the rolled off a bunch of goals and pulled away.
Croton will get respect based on how they play Put Valley. Ossining will get respect by how they do in the first round of the playoffs (depending on who they play, a good fight could earn respect). They will also get another shot at Keio so a chance for Ossining to avenge that loss. Also rumor has it the Brewster game has been changed to a rematch with Pelham but I don’t see it on boces, so someone may have been mistaken.
North Rockland had to be a tough pick for Mike. As I mentioned they lost to Nyack, who lost to Ossining, who lost to Keio. But North Rockland put up 20 on Ossining, so just wipe that other stuff out? Did North Rock play Suffern tight ?? Because White Plains didn’t play ‘town too tight.
Obviously you have not watched Croton, Ossining, or Keio play this year.Good games.I watched croton loose to ossining good game, croton had 2 starting d-men out.Keio plays with alot of heart.All three are good teams.
How can Hen Hud be rated above Put Valley? Put Valley has a better record and beat them 6-5… Hen Hud is an average team. They have not beaten any top team and Put Valley beat Rye. If Pleasantville can learn to close games they are team I would not want to play in the playoffs.
They have loses to good teams that’s all I can think of lol

Late in the season, I have to consider the body of work. South has been more consistent, but is about to run into trouble. Remember, there is a considerable talent gap in Class A beyond Lakeland/Panas, Suffern and Mahopac. And we don’t cover Arlington so that school isn’t part of the list, but come sectionals, you have to factor the Admirals in.
I gotta believe the schedule Hen Hud played is going to pay dividends as long as the Sailors are healthy. Putnam Valley had the best player on the field in that overtime win last week, and that was the difference. And there’s a decent chance Hen Hud and Putnam Valley will meet again in the playoffs.
That was not my question. They both have played quality teams and Put Valley actually beat one. My question is since Put Valley beat hen hud how can u rank them 3 places higher? I thought winning was the way to judge the team not playing good teams and losing by 6 goals.
Oldtime-why worry about it at this stage? Only rankings that count are at the end of the season. These interim rankings are just for entertainment. Enjoy the rest of the season!
Dobbs Ferry beat Put Valley without their top close defender, so where would Dobbs match up against Hen Hud, and how would Pelham match up against PV?

If someone can come on here and tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about and I cant respond what’s the point ?
Old Timer – I respect Slacrosse but who has Rye beaten this year? They have beaten 1 team with a winning record and honestly have not had a statement win except against Pleasantville who is 3-11.
Is there any website we can get the sectional seeding guidline?
offball, Beating Pleasantville I don’t think counts as a “statement win” considering their record.

That beiing said Pleasantville is about 4-5 players short of being a really good team. Pville’s player are sucking wind by the end of the 2nd period. They are just short of players, need depth-they have good coaching.
