We’ve got some traditional powers tangling.
Mahopac is heading to Yorktown with a three-game losing streak in two. I’m thinking the Huskers still remember the difficult road loss when these teams met a year ago. Lakeland/Panas comes up to John Jay for what could be a real grind. Both teams know how to play defense. Scoring is sometimes a chore.
I’m anxious to hear about Croton at Ossining because the Indians have gotten themselves back together of late and might be able to scare the last undefeated team in the section. Arlington and Brewster have both come a long way in the last month and should put on a good show.
Leave a score if you’re out watching. I’m down in Jersey for a golf tournament, but I’ll be passing along results when I get back home.

JJ 10 Lakeland 5 mark it down now!!
osssining is the pride now, but more than happy if the blog wants to refer to them as the indians
Ouch. 20-0 is a beating. I don’t think I could do that to a team.
Hen Hud 11, Wappingers 3 (final)
Kennedy 17 Lourdes 0
Ossining 9 Croton 8 OT
ouch…..
Great game by both Ossining and Croton, Pride won 9-8 in overtime. It was a great game to watch.
Byram beats Pleasantville 12-6. Byram’s Kaiser dominates face-offs Pville rarely had the ball in the last three quarters.Byram cut down on some of their turnovers still needs to do better. Pville has a very short bench maybe 4-5 extra players but they’re a skilled group.
Brewster beats arlington 8-5. Great all-around performence by the bears despite the sloppy play at times.
St Anthony’s 13- Iona 3
Chaminade Flyers over Fordham Prep 14-2
Undefeated no more. Anyone know what the league championship tiebreaker is? I think Croton would probably win most categories… They score more goals, give up less (although in league play it might be really close) have a better combined score in the two games, 5-0 + 8-9 comes out to 13-9. They have a better overall record. Either way it was an awesome win for Ossining. Truly a very exciting game. Ossining came out firing got out to 3-0 lead early. Croton scored 4straight took short lead, Ossining got it back by the half, 5-4. 2nd half back and forth and in OT both teams had chances to score, final goal scored on a quick stick from a soft lob just over the goalie’s stick. Some game ….
Check out the link of Fusco cheapshotting hynes. Suspend him yorktown. Being old husker green that is not how we play.
