I’m hoping Suffern and North Rockland both woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, because I think we might be in for a good time if the competition gap has closed. We’ve been waiting. A couple of years ago, this was among the best lacrosse rivalries in Section 1. I’m going to watch, so check my Twitter feed if you’re looking for updates.
The other intriguing match-ups include Mamaroneck at Bronxville, which has been waiting almost two weeks to play its second game of the season. The Tigers have improved from last season, and continue to gain credibility. If there’s one thing missing, it’s a headline-stealing win over an established power. Hackley and Fieldston are sitting atop the Ivy League right now, and played close a year ago. Pelham and Eastchester always bring a little extra when they get together, so that could be a fun one to watch.
Please leave a score if you’re out watching, or tweet me a final and I’ll share it with everyone.

Pelham wins 12-10, but almost gives it away fourth quarter with regulars sitting out. Cirillo scores 9 goals.
Pelham now 5-0
Croton 9 Haldane 4

Dont blame the coach for doing the right thing. Its
About giving eveyone a chance to play. Nice job coach if you win by one or ten goals you
Still win. L
Lets The Kid Play, And we’ll give all the kids medals and ice creme after the game. And better yet we’ll put together a Varsity B Team so all the kids on the bubble or worse can put it on the college transcript. Get a grip and get real! Its life!
correct croton score was 11-4
Congratulations to Tom Cirillo on breaking the Eastchester High School record for most goals. While Pelham gets kudos for sitting out their regulars, Eastchester was missing 4 starters the entire game.
I watched the pelham game. pelham had 9 players benched for the first quarter, it was 4-4. at halftime it was 9-4 or 9-5. whether or not eastchester had all of its players, when the pelham starters were in it was about 8-2 in pelham’s favor.
gucci mane yuh, Please look at your post. In its current form it makes little sense. Try again as to what you are trying to say or convey.
Thanks
Great one up-manship. Okay…by the end of this argument we will conclude that no starters played for each team, and those who played were wearing blind folds and using borrowed girls lax sticks….
Oh brother….
I’m going to bed now, Al, so if they misbehave, you’re in charge, knock some heads together. And please enjoy the Suffern-North Rockland photos.
When pelham’s starters were in the game they completely dominated. I’d say it was about 8-2 Pelham from the end of the 1st quarter to the beginning of the 4th when the starters were in. Eastchester has been criticized all year for lack of depth, so its hard to imagine that the missing players would have made such an impact knowing that cirillo played the whole game.
