The New York State Sportswriters Association released its first set of rankings yesterday and many of the usual suspects from Section 1 are represented. Some may be missing, depending on your point of view. I play no role in the process, and it’s really not an easy task for the few who assemble the list so don’t get too crazy about the numbers here. At the end of the season, it’s usually on target. The rankings are based on games played through April 8.

Guess JJ will drop out now. Not sure how they made it in the top 10 the only team they played that has any standing is Yorktown and they lost.
