It’s good to see Iona Prep upgrade the schedule from year to year as the program continues to be successful. It takes a certain level of credibility to get top schools to even call back. And this is the most ambitious schedule any of the local private schools will be playing this spring.
Start with St. Anthony’s and Chaminade. Throw in John Jay, Rye and Somers.
We’re going to have a pretty good idea where the Gaels rank among the best programs in the region before this season’s over. Who’s playing the most difficult schedule in Section 1? We’ll visit that again tomorrow.
