The annual Journal News All-Star teams are pretty much locked in at this point, and the stories will run next week. In collecting information for the boys team, I came across some bits and pieces of news to pass along.
So in no particular order …

Rockland All-Stars. Saw list in Sunday’s paper, will it be linked to blog site? Overall it’s good. Just some comments.
1. Couldn’t the South and Nyack coach find honorable mention slots for injured seniors Sean Day and Parker Devoe. I think they played at least half the season before injury. Certainly among the best players in the county the last 2 years.
2. Not a single Clarkstown North or Albertus Magnus player. It’s a small county, only 8 schools play lax. I saw North play, they had some good players, and a good goalie. Not even an honorable mention. The coaches or AD of those schools should take note.
