Kieran McDonald, a Rye resident heading into his senior year at the Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn., gave an oral commitment to North Carolina earlier this week. Following last summer’s Empire State Games, Rye resident Kieran McDonald said his mailbox was “flooded with mail from colleges.”

Fairfield University just announced that Ted Spencer will be retiring after 13 years as head coach.
