Boys lacrosse in the Lower Hudson Valley with Joe Lombardi

Video report: Some thoughts on the ESG team

July
3

Now that the 2008 Hudson Vallet ESG team is all set, I took a few moments to give my thoughts on the selections, the selection process and what the schedule looks like for Hudson Valley in Binghamton.

The 20-player rosters includes four players each from Yorktown and Rye.

Be sure to weigh in with your comments and questions as well.

Hop – Did you try it on Firefox? That browser usually works best with video applications. Listen to me. I sound like a techie — nothing could be further from the truth actually. Any way, let me know if you still have a problem.

  4. hopkinslax

  5. Joe Lombardi

Firefox is a browser, like Explorer or Safari.
    You can download it here.

  6. hopkinslax

  7. Joe Lombardi

After you download it, you want to launch Firefox as your browser, close out of any other browser and use Firefox as your browser to launch the video. Make sense?

  8. hopkinslax

About the author
Joe Lombardi Joe Lombardi did not become familiar with lacrosse until after graduating from both Irvington High School and the University of Dayton Ñ neither of which offered the sport. But it didn't take him long to take a liking to lacrosse since it combines elements of several of his favorite sports: basketball, hockey and football. In addition to serving as local sports editor of The Journal News and LoHud.com, he also writes the weekly "Catching up with...":http://lohud.com/catchingup feature that appears on Tuesdays. Joe can also be seen each Monday during the school year on RNN's "NewsCenter Now," providing a look at the week ahead in local sports, as well as on "Varsity Central Extra," which appears on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
