  53. LAX

Impressive win for Syosset. Garden City beat them 10-2 though. I know it was the first game of the season but GC is a team to watch out for. Will the GC-RP game be played same time as the JJ-SGF game?

  54. FanToo

Ok. I see the Yorktown wins, Rye rolling thread. Thanks.

  55. Mongoose

Anyone covering John Jay – South Glens Falls? Any updates?

  56. lov'n lax

    JJ 7-1 9:12 left in the 2nd.

  57. LacrosseInsider

Where is LaxBus?? The bus must be back in Albany already…....

  58. Syracuse

    LOL!

  59. laxbus

I'm here. I just got back home. It was a great game. The better team won today, but you have to admit it was very close.

  60. laxbus

Good luck and win the State so we can brag that we gave the State Champions a good game ;^)

  61. Syracuse

Of course it was close. Nobody ever said it would be a blowout. Even 5-6-7-goal wins can be close. Nisky should get a lot of credit for going to Yorktown and playing as well as they did.

  62. laxbus

Thanks…the boys were dissappointed but they'll bounce back. Only losing 5 seniors, so watch out next year if we drop down to B ;^)

    Good luck tomorrow…

  63. LacrosseInsider

I was looking at the roster, it is true Nisky is a very young team. It was a very good game and it was a hard fought close game. I have to say that Interlicchio is the real deal, for a sophmore he really can play! Reminds me of the old school attackman (i.e., Marr brothers).

Any truth to the rumor that Ranagan has narrowed his college choices down to Syracuse and Hopkins?? That kid is a beast!

  64. Re-Lax

Hey great wins today by all three section one teams. Yorktown Nisky best game of day. Great compsure Town way to stick together and keep the train rolling. Next stop Hofstra and Syosset Should be great.

    Amy predictions??
I'll start Heart says Yorktown 8 Syosset 5
Head says Syosset 9 Yorktown 6
I hope Heart rules the day.

In Class B I think it will be a great game, Face off's will be key
I like John Jay to win. John Jay 12 Rocky Point 9.

In class C I think Rye has a quality team with a lot of fire power, However with that said I just do not see them beating Just can't see Rrye beating Mount Sinai.

    Rye 6 Mount Sinai 11

Good luck to all the teams in the state semi finals, Even if the season ends tomorrow for some teams it has been an exciting year. Thanks for all the enjoyment and dedication to the sport.

  65. Re-Lax

Yikes, should have proof read before I hit submit. I would like to come up with a clever excuse, but I don't have one. Again anyone know if the quater finals or semi finals will be on cable?.

  66. Nicolosi's a JJ Guy

Dave Marr wishes he was as fast as Interlicchio.LOL Good point though , same stick, and field sense.
