Here are some quick facts and stats to know about the Class C final.No. 1 Rye (19-2) vs. No. 3 Byram Hills (14-6) 8 p.m.,
Thursday at John Jay
• Rye is going for its fourth straight Class C title. It has defeated Putnam Valley the previous three years.
• Rye defeated ByamHills 11-5 on May 11. In that game, Robert Santangelo had four goals and Kevin Gordon had a goal and four assists for Rye. Andrew Lohrfink had three goals and one assist for Byram Hills.
• Rye has an 18-game winning streak, which is the longest active streak in Section 1. Yorktown is second with10 straight wins.
• Rye ended John Jay’s 47-game winning streak against Section 1 opponents with a 9-8 double overtime win on May 8.
• Prostano and Gordon lead Rye with 52 points each.
• Rye goalie Matt Rix has a 4.27 goals against average and a .684 save percentage.
• Byram Hills moved up into the “A” division after playing last year in the “B.”
• Byram Hills, the No. 3 seed, is the only team that is not seeded first or second in the finals.
• Andrew Lohrfink leads Byram Hills with 48 points. Daniel Lohrfink is second with 40. Seven players have scored 27 or more points.
• Ben Shaffer and Evan Waldenberg have each played considerable time in goal. Shaffer has a 6.80 GAA and a .642 save percentage; Waldenberg has a 6.03 GAA and a .600 save percentage.
