Roy Colsey coached against Yorktown, the school he starred at before becoming an all-American at Syracuse as a midfielder, as Horace Greeley’s head coach for the first time today in the Quakers’ 12-5 loss to the visiting ‘Huskers.
“It was comfortable. I’m buddies with all those guys,” said Colsey, whose team was led by Jason Kerstein’s two goals. “I’m still a Yorktown fan every other day of the year.”
John Froats scored three goals for the ‘Huskers. Tom Casey had a goal and two assists.
