Yonkers native Doc Dougherty is back coaching. Dougherty's 33-year coaching career at Garden City ended after the 2006 season after he was charged with removing a license plate from the car of his next-door neighbor. Steven Marcus has a story on Dougherty's return today in Newsday. Here is the link.
