Just got word from Tim Donovan, the director of the SUNY Youth Sports Institute which is sponsoring a youth lacrosse symposium for coaches and parents on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Yorktown High School Auditorium. It is called “Crossing the Coaching Divide: Varsity Coaching Insights for Youth Coaches & Parents” and admission is free.
Panelists are head varsity boys coaches Dave Marr (Yorktown), Rick Trizano (Iona Prep) and Dave McNally (Suffern) and assistant coach Tim Schurr (Somers) as well as girls coach Gail Lozado (Suffern) and professional lacrosse player and YHS alum Joe Ceglia.
They will be accepting questions from audience members as well as sharing their coaching philosophies.

Lozado isn't from Suffern
